Mutual funds top $10 trillion in assets (USA Today)
Somewhere around the time that the USA was adding its 300 millionth person, investors were adding their 10 trillionth dollar to Mutual Funds.

Money funds rise in latest week (Sharewatch)
Assets of taxable money market funds in the retail category rose by $2.52 billion to $724.02 billion for the week ended Wednesday, the Washington-based mutual fund trade group said. Tax-exempt fund assets rose by $1.41 billion to $217.67 billion.
